May I borrow a cup of plot?

Oh, no!  Family from the country is coming to my funky NYC apartment for Thanksgiving and the oven won't work!  The turkey will be raw!  I know they hate me and my mother is evil, but she's dying of ... oh, wait: I guess there were some changes.
